After reading Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex by Mary Roach (click here to read all my posts about this book), I found "Yes, Dear. Tonight Again." by Ralph Gardner Jr. (published in the New York Times on June 8, 2008) entertaining and humorous.
This article talks about two books about two married couples's stories of daily sex -- 365 Nights: A Memoir of Intimacy by Charla Mueller and Just Do It: How One Couple Turned Off the TV and Turned On Their Sex Lives for 101 Days (No Excuses!) by Douglas Brown.
Both couples embarked on their sex marathon in an effort to reinvigorate their marriages.
As the article says, "married couples have intercourse about 66 times a year. But that number is skewed by young marrieds, as young as 18, who couple, on average, 84 times a year." That makes the daily sex goals of these couples even more astounding.
Not sure if I'll read either book, but I'd sure like to hear the thoughts of those who have read either book!
