As a child, I spent hours and hours at my local library after school. Maybe it was because English was not my first language, who knows, but I loved going to the library and reading as much as I could (before heading outside to play in the dirt of course).
I love libraries so much that I even considered becoming a librarian (then I learned that programming is a prerequisite in Masters programs in Library Studies these days).
So anytime I go to the library, I still cannot resist borrowing two or ten books (even when I already have ten checked out). Today I borrowed:
- Winning: The Answers: Confronting 74 of the Toughest Questions in Business Today by Jack Welch
- The Definitive Book of Body Language by Barbara Pease & Allan Pease
- The Zen of Fish: The Story of Sushi, from Samurai to Supermarket by Trevor Corson
- The Buddha from Brooklyn by Martha Sherrill
- Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future by Bill McKibben
- Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense (and Stick You with the Bill) by David Cay Johnston
Back to work!
