The Big Thirst: The Secret Revolution In U.S. Water Use

The Big Thirst: The Secret Life and Turbulent Future of Water border=Just read this article printed in FastCompany.com yesterday. Just glad to see that the issue of water usage is finally getting some press. Did you know that as of several years ago:

  • U.S. uses 410 billion gallons of water/day
  • China uses 550 billion gallons of water/day
  • India uses 646 billion gallons of water/day

And in four days, the U.S. uses more water than the world uses oil in a year.

I'll have to pick up Charles Fishman's The Big Thirst: The Secret Life and Turbulent Future of Water border= to learn more.
